The cost of a Reiki treatment varies depending on the practitioner, location, and length of the session. Most Reiki sessions last between 45 and 90 minutes, with prices typically reflecting the practitioner's experience and the time provided.
Some practitioners also offer shorter follow-up sessions, distance Reiki, or discounted treatment packages. If you're interested in learning Reiki, course fees will vary depending on the level of training and what is included.

The cost of Reiki varies depending on where you live, the practitioner’s experience, and the length of the session. Typical prices are:
30-minute session: £25–£50
60-minute session: £45–£90
90-minute session: £70–£120
In the UK, many practitioners charge around £50–£75 for a one-hour session. Prices may be higher in large cities like London and lower in smaller towns.
Some practitioners also offer:
Introductory sessions at a reduced rate (e.g. £30–£40).
Package deals (such as 5 sessions for a discounted total).
Distance Reiki, which is often priced similarly to in-person sessions.
If you’re considering Reiki, it can be worth asking:
How long the session lasts.
What the session involves.
Whether the practitioner has training or membership in a professional Reiki organization.
Whether they offer a brief consultation before booking.
It’s also worth noting that while many people find Reiki relaxing and report improvements in wellbeing, scientific evidence has not established that it is an effective treatment for medical conditions beyond effects such as relaxation and the placebo response. It should not be used as a replacement for evidence-based medical care, though some people choose to use it alongside conventional treatment.
